Rooms for rent in Lakewood/Golden Area [Aug. 26th, 2008|08:43 pm]
Golden, Co

cross posted to denver_co

Easy access to buses, short drive to School of Mines, Auraria campus, and the commute to downtown isn't far AND there's easier access to the mountains!

I currently rent a 4 bedroom 2 bath house for just me and my animals. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. My cat does not share space, so any additional animals would have to be the contained bird/reptile/rodent/fish type. I've furnished the house except for 2 rooms + bath in the downstairs off the common room. There is already a bed, but nothing else in one of the rooms. You could use one as your bedroom and the other as an office/studio/workout room. OR bring a friend for the other room and the rent goes down to $400 for all! There's also a garage, shed, great deck and large yard. It's a quiet suburban neighborhood, so there's not going to be any raucous parties until 4am. Sounds a little boring, but I actually love it and have never found it an inconvenience to go downtown (which I do a couple nights a week).

I'm quiet, have my animals, love cooking and gardening, and go out a couple nights a week, but don't drink to excess/drunkenness, don't smoke or do drugs and am looking for someone with similar behaviors.

I would prefer a female graduate/professional student or young professional. Your rent would be half mine- so $600 + 1/2 utilities (I pay about $100/month for cable + cable internet; $80 for power). Let me know if this is an arrangement you're willing to consider and we'll talk more.

***Slick cynical lyrics delivered with growling vocals on top of a razor and nail mattress of driving guitars, heavy synths, and aggressive beats to create this industrial-rock accomplishment that no fan of KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Fear Factory, or Static-X should be without.***

Open the Book of Thoth, the 'Tarot of the Egyptians', for yourself! Bring a Tarot deck if you own one; Thoth deck is ideal but any will do.

Instructor Zoshua Zintel encourages all to explore the mysteries of the Tarot by cracking the basic code within its pages. As a collection of art concepts compiled by sages through the ages it helps one tap into the Collective Unconscious. Come explore the Thoth Deck as created by the Lady Frieda Harris under the conceptual direction of Aleister Crowley. By learning the mnemonic keys the Book transforms from mysterious collections of art into a readable mirror of the mind!

"Know Thyself!"

Zoshua has taught Hermetic Kabbalah, Tarot & Astrology for over 15 years. He is also a senior member of the Theurgic organization H.O.O.R.. Having worked, learned and taught at various Temples & Lodges of H.O.O.R. around the country, he brings a unique blend of passion, synthesis and distillation from various cultures and mythologies. Other venues which have hosted Zoshua's workshops & courses include the Garrett-Light Center, Baywinds Adult Learning Center, and Borders Books.

In a few weeks, I’ll be participating in the 18th Annual AIDS Walk Colorado, which will raise much-needed funds for people living with HIV/AIDS and to prevent HIV infection in our state. New treatments are now available that were unheard of ten years ago. These have decreased the number of AIDS related deaths; unfortunately, more people are being infected with the virus everyday.

By sponsoring me in the walk, you will help us continue to provide services such as case management, a food bank, emergency financial assistance, housing assistance, support groups, prevention, and educational outreach for those in need.

Donations can be made online via a secure page with a credit card. Help me reach my fundraising goals by clicking the link in this email and visiting my personal donation page.

On behalf of those who are living with HIV and AIDS and those who have been lost, thank you for your generous support.

Dayle Steinke
